Subic Bay tourism enters cyberspace

Subic Bay takes further step in promoting its tourism industry with www.subicbay.com.ph, a web portal developed through the mutual efforts of Subic Bay Consultancy and Allied Services and Agile Philippines Technology Center.
The website was formally launched alongside the inauguration of the new SBMA Tourism Office at Boardwalk Park on August 26, 2005.
Kenneth Peralta, new SBMA Tourism Department Manager, highlighted the launch of the website with a prelude to the role of www.subicbay.com.ph to Subic Bay and its people, investors, and tourists.

The World's Gateway to Subic Bay
"On this day, www.subicbay.com.ph welcomes the world to its doorsteps. A
virtual gateway that opens to our very own gates made of rock and stone --
those at Rizal, Tipo, Morong, Olongapo, as well as our seaports and airport.
Those that visit subicbay.com.ph can find the latest news and events in the
former US naval base, it is where they can watch us grow, from a distance,
or they can choose to be with us.
Subicbay.com.ph will bring all those that love and live in Subic together.
And together, we will tell the world of the wonders of our forests, the
greatness of our waters and the warmth of our people. Where work is never
work to us for when you love what you do, you will never work again for the
rest of your life.
This will bring us closer together than ever before, and once that is
achieved, it will bring the world closer to us, for after all, when Subic
Bay gets smaller because of our synergy, the world is smaller too.
Through the aid of cyberspace, tourists and investors can learn more about
Subic Bay and transact with businesses located in the Freeport. It is where
they will know more about us and where they will learn to fall in love with
us. For Subic Bay's magic can be felt wherever the person may be."
